Concrete floors are porous and tend to absorb stains rather quickly. If you have concrete flooring indoors, you can use a commercial sealer to seal the floor, which will save you a lot of time.
- If the concrete floor is not sealed, use a broom to get rid of debris and loose dirt. Wash the floor using an all purpose cleaning agent.
- If you have concrete flooring in your garage, it will soak up oil and grease, leaving behind ugly stains. Use kitty litter in the garage to absorb oil and grease. This will prevent staining. Keep the garage door closed to prevent debris and other loose dirt from making their way into the garage.
- Use a stiff broom to clean loose debris and dirt from the garage floor and then spread the kitty litter on the floor. If you want to get rid of the litter, use running water to flush it out. Once you get rid of loose dirt on the garage floor, apply a heavy duty commercial floor cleaner using a sponge mop to clean the floor. Rinse with cool water and you will be amazed at the results. Allow the floor to air dry.
